Kim Scafuro is a Brooklyn based artist and illustrator. In November 2008, she was written up in the hip lifestyle magazine, Domino, in an article about new and upcoming portrait artists. Since then, she has been creating portraits for various clients, of children, family members, pets and friends. She works closely with her customers to create images that combine their ideas and her personal style to create wholly unique pieces.
Kim’s portraits are typically gouache, ballpoint pen or cut paper on high quality, archival paper. To create a custom portrait, all she needs from you is a quality photo of the subject matter and whatever ideas you may have in mind.
